With the MySQL connector, you can connect your MySQL or MariaDB databases directly to the Knowledge Base. Once connected, Odin AI Platform indexes the tables you specify, making your database content searchable and accessible to your AI agents for grounded, data-driven responses.

Connecting to MySQL

Open Project Settings

In your Odin AI Platform project, navigate to Settings in the sidebar.

Go to Connections

Select the Connections tab and find the MySQL tile under Databases.

Open the MySQL popup

Click the MySQL tile. A popup appears with the option to connect to MySQL databases. Click + Add Connection.

Fill in the connection form

Enter the following details:ServerAuthenticationDatabase

Save the connection

Click Save. Odin AI Platform will authenticate using the details provided. If successful, the MySQL tile on the Connections page will display a green dot and a count of your active MySQL connections.
You’re now ready to use your MySQL data in the Knowledge Base!
