# Overview

> Odin AI Platform in your environment—who it is for, how it differs from cloud, and links to licensing and installation.

The **On-Premise license** lets you run Odin AI Platform **inside your own infrastructure** (for example, your cloud account or data centers) so you control networking, residency, and integration with internal systems—while still receiving software, updates, and support from Odin AI according to your agreement.

## Who On-Premise is for

Organizations with requirements such as **strict data residency**, **private network-only access**, **custom security zones**, or **alignment with existing enterprise Kubernetes and cloud standards**.

## Relationship to cloud

Feature direction and many concepts (projects, knowledge base, agents, workflows) align with the **cloud** experience, but **deployment, upgrades, sizing, and day-two operations** are owned by your team following Odin AI guidance and supported paths.
